Your representative in port, from arrival planning to departure clearance.
A port agent is the shipowner's hands and signature in a place where the shipowner is not. We act as owner's, charterer's or cargo protective agent, depending on who appoints us, and the mandate is always the same: protect the interests of whoever we represent while the vessel is exposed.
That means being at the terminal when the pilot boards, having the paperwork accepted the first time it is presented, and knowing which authority to call when something is refused at two in the morning. Most of the cost in a port call is not in the tariff. It is in the hours lost waiting for someone to fix a problem that should have been anticipated.

What we need from the vessel.
Vessel name and IMO, flag, ETA, cargo and quantity, terminal if already nominated, and the appointment letter. Ideally 7 days before arrival. We can work with less.
